Alien Data-Streaming infrastructure — as accessed by You under the Terms of Service — is committed to protecting the privacy and security of Your personal data. All security, confidentiality, and integrity measures described in this Privacy Policy apply equally to any Content made available by the Content Owner through the Alien Data-Streaming infrastructure.
By using the Alien Data-Streaming infrastructure and accepting the Terms of Service, You consent to the processing of your personal data by Alien in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and to its storage by Scaleway (our cloud hosting provider) in France (Europe).
Alien Intelligence SAS (“Alien”) acts as the data controller, as defined under applicable data protection laws.
Data Collection, Purpose of Processing and Use
Personal Data Collected: Alien collects personal data when You register for an account and use our Data-Streaming infrastructure. In line with the principle of data minimization, we only process personal data that is strictly necessary for the purposes described below. This may include:
Your first and last name;
Contact details (such as your email address);
IP address;
Billing and payment information;
Connection data and logs;
Any other information You provide or generate while using the services.
Personal data may be shared within Alien or with authorized service providers, strictly on a need-to-know basis.

We retain Your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Personal data may be transferred to or accessed from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). When such transfers occur, Alien ensures that they are carried out in full compliance with GDPR requirements, using one of the following safeguards:
The European Commission’s adequacy decisions for the recipient country; or
The European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), ensuring an equivalent level of protection for personal data.
In all cases, Alien ensures that recipients are bound by contractual obligations to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection.
Legal Requirements and Law Enforcement:
Alien may disclose personal data where required by law or in response to lawful requests from competent public authorities — including regulatory, judicial, or law enforcement bodies — to comply with national security or legal obligations.
Such disclosures are limited to what is strictly necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards.

Alien implements industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
